As keen supporters of Rugby Union and in particular Leicester Tigers, Ascot Business Solutions is delighted to announce the new sponsorship of Tigers and England Saxons Lock Richard Blaze for the 2009/10 Guinness Premiership season.

 

A summer signing from Guinness Premiership rivals Worcester Warriors, Richard has been widely tipped to become a future full England international. The young lock forward was part of his country’s extended World Cup training squad and has already impressed for England Saxons during their successful Churchill Cup campaign at the end of last season. He has represented England throughout the age groups, including appearing in the U-19 FIRA World Cup and IRB U-21 World Championships in 2005 and 2006. He was also a permanent fixture in England’s 2006 Grand Slam-winning U-21 side, playing in all five victories over their Six Nations counterparts from France, Italy, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

 

Since joining Tigers at the beginning of the 2007/08 season, Richard has made valuable contributions in both the Guinness Premiership, EDF Energy Cup and Heineken Cup competitions. After being dogged with injury for much of last season, Richard has made a full recovery and is hoped to stake a claim for a regular Tigers team position and a squad call up with England
